If you’re on a journey to have a healthier gut, body, and lifestyle, I have ONE piece of advice for you. Just one.
But here’s the catch…
It’s so boring. Like sooooo 🙄 boring. So it gets overlooked. We think we need something more thrilling than this, something we never thought of that will finally make all of this conflicting, confusing nutrition and health advice come together. Something drastic. Something new.
And I SWEAR if I had to pick only one nutrition thing to preach, it’s this:
Eat way more fiber 🫘
Not just take Metamucil (that’s fine, too). I’m talking about eating lots of different plants that have fiber in them naturally.
I’m not telling you to restrict, avoid, or cut out anything. I’m not telling you to fast, or discipline yourself, or deprive yourself. I’m actually saying to eat MORE of something.
Oh yeah, and I’m not telling you to go buy all these new, exotic ingredients. And I’m DEFINITELY not telling you to spend HOURS in the kitchen every day! Ain’t nobody got time for that!
Yeah, it’s gonna work.
Fiber literally does wonders for your body, and for your gut.
And you still need to eat enough of it even if you already have good poops (lucky you).
Females: 25 grams per day.
Males: 38 grams per day.
Americans eat about half of that, on average.
You might think you eat this much, but I bet when you look up your foods and run the numbers, you’re not eating as much as you think.
